Dr. John Rose

Dr. John Rose is an ophthalmologist who specializes in oculoplastic and facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Based in Madison, Wisconsin, he performs cosmetic and functional eyelid, brow, midface, orbital, and tear duct surgery. He also repairs skin cancer defects around the eyes and face and offers minimally-invasive facelift surgery. His clinical interests include blepharospasm, ptosis repair, eyelid and orbital tumors, and tear duct disorders.

Dr. Rose completed his ophthalmology residency at Duke University Medical Center, followed by fellowships in Oculoplastic Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and holds additional certifications in cosmetic surgery. He has served as an editor for the American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery and has authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications and invited lectures.
