Dr. John Affeldt

Dr. John Affeldt is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and external eye diseases at Loma Linda University Health. He provides comprehensive eye care for conditions including corneal diseases, dry eye, eye trauma, and ocular surface diseases. His surgical expertise covers cornea transplantation, eye trauma surgery, and pterygium surgery.

Dr. Affeldt received his medical education at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and completed his residency in ophthalmology at Doheny Eye Institute. He pursued additional fellowship training in ophthalmology at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and in cornea and external eye disease at Doheny Eye Institute, enhancing his ability to manage complex eye disorders.

As a faculty member at Loma Linda University Health, Dr. Affeldt practices at clinics in Loma Linda and Riverside, California.
