Dr. Joan Lee

Dr. Joan Lee is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in uveitis and ocular inflammation. She earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry School of Osteopathic Medicine, completed her residency at Geisinger Medical Center, and pursued a fellowship in uveitis at the Massachusetts Eye Research and Surgery Institution. Dr. Lee is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and holds memberships in the Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Uveitis Society.

Her clinical practice is dedicated to seeing patients with ocular inflammatory conditions, which often requires a comprehensive understanding of their overall health. She is trained to administer systemic medications when necessary to manage these eye diseases effectively.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with her family and children, engaging in outdoor activities, and cooking. She values building relationships with her patients, as reflected in her statement, “I really enjoy getting to know my patients.”
