About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I am very pleased to introduce myself to you and tell you a little about my practice. At Kaiser Permanente, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work with outstanding colleagues and inspiring members on a daily basis. I hope this page helps you get to know me, and I look forward to working with you to improve your health.
I am a native Southern Californian who grew up in Huntington Beach. I was inspired to go into medicine by my father, who was also a Kaiser Permanente physician. Through medicine, I felt I could really make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I moved to San Francisco for most of my training, but was drawn back to Southern California to be closer to my family. I specialize in diseases and surgery of the cornea, but part of what I love about my job is that I have the opportunity to see members with a much wider variety of eye conditions. Vision is so essential to our lives, and I am very grateful that I can dedicate my career to preserving and restoring people’s sight. I also enjoy the opportunity to share knowledge with the resident physicians who rotate through our service.
I believe it is important to have balance in one’s life. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling at the beach, hiking, and skiing. I love traveling and am always looking forward to my next destination!
