Dr. Janet Lee
About Me
Dr. Janet Lee is an ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical, laser, and surgical treatment of glaucoma. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), graduating with Highest Departmental Honors in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. She received her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine, where she was awarded a research training grant from the National Institutes of Health. After medical school, she completed an ophthalmology residency at the UCLA Stein Eye Institute and went on to pursue a glaucoma fellowship there.
Dr. Lee focuses on helping patients understand their diagnosis and the full range of glaucoma treatment options, with the goal of protecting vision over the long term. Outside the clinic, she enjoys hiking and traveling, and she is fluent in Mandarin with a working knowledge of Spanish.
