About Me
Dr. Jan Kronish is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist and facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He specializes in eyelid disorders and tumors, cosmetic eyelid and facial rejuvenation surgery, and medical and surgical treatments for tearing disorders and diseases of the orbit. Dr. Kronish has been in private practice with Delray Eye Associates since 1991.
He began his career on the faculty of the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and currently serves as a Voluntary Associate Professor at the Eye Institute and University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Kronish completed his ophthalmology residency at Bascom Palmer and a prestigious fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Dr. Kronish is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology and serves as an examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology. He was elected President of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and has been recognized by awards such as the Senior Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
