Meet Dr. Hee Joon Kim

Dr. H. Joon Kim is an experienced oculoplastic surgeon who cares for adults and children needing surgical repair of the eyelids, tear drainage system, and eye socket. She treats concerns such as tear duct blockages, ptosis (droopy eyelids), periocular cancers, and injuries around the eye, with a focus on restoring both function and appearance.

Dr. Kim also offers cosmetic oculofacial services, including eyelid and brow lifts and injectables such as Botox and fillers. She earned her medical degree and completed ophthalmology residency training at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, followed by oculoplastic surgery and teaching fellowships at Emory University School of Medicine. Prior to joining the Moran Eye Center, she practiced at Emory and several Atlanta-area health systems, and she remains committed to physician education and global outreach work in low-resource settings.
