Dr. Gaurav Chandra

Dr. Alan Sheyman is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who specializes in medical and surgical diseases of the retina. Mahmood Khan, MD, is a vitreoretinal surgeon at Weill Cornell Medicine. He cares for people with age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, uveitis, and other disorders of the retina and vitreous. Dr. Khan completed undergraduate studies at Baylor University and earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. Mark P. Breazzano, MD is a board-certified vitreoretinal surgeon who cares for patients with diseases of the retina, macula, and vitreous. He specializes in both medical and surgical management of retinal conditions, and he is involved in clinical research designed to improve outcomes and safety for patients with complex eye disease. Dr. Breazzano completed retina and vitreous surgery fellowship training at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an ophthalmology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, after earning his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University College of Medicine. In addition to patient care, he has published extensively and has been recognized for mentorship and contributions within retina and academic ophthalmology. He works closely with patients to explain diagnoses clearly, review treatment options, and tailor a plan that fits each person’s vision goals and overall health.
