About Me
Dr. Eleanore Kim is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in ophthalmic plastic surgery, also known as oculoplastics. She treats a wide range of conditions affecting the eyelids and orbit, performing both cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures. Her expertise includes blepharoplasty, ptosis repair, and eyelid cancer reconstruction, as well as surgery of the tear duct system. Dr. Kim takes an individualized approach to patient care, guiding each person toward their treatment goals with compassion and deep clinical experience.
Dr. Kim received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical School. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Cornell and then pursued advanced fellowship training in oculoplastics in New York City. In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at NYU, where she has taught residents and fellows in oculoplastics for over 15 years. Dr. Kim is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and collaborates with peers on national committees.
