Dr. Daniel Townsend

Board-certified oculoplastic surgeon Dr. Daniel J. Townsend specializes in surgical procedures involving the eyelids, tear duct system, and orbital bone at the Dartmouth, MA facility of Eye Health Vision Centers. He performs both cosmetic and corrective procedures, including blepharoplasty, forehead and brow lifts, botulinum toxin injections, and laser skin resurfacing.

Dr. Townsend serves on the teaching faculties of Harvard Medical School and Tufts Medical School and is a former co-director of the oculoplastics service at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Townsend co-authored the medical text "Atlas of Eyelid Surgery" in 1994.
