Dr. Christy Harvey

Dr. Christy M. Harvey is a medical retina specialist who cares for patients with diseases affecting the macula and peripheral retina. She is experienced in diagnosing complex retinal conditions and providing in-office treatments such as retinal laser procedures and retinal injections when appropriate.

She chose retina care because she understands how concerning vision changes can be, and she emphasizes maintaining independence and quality of life. Dr. Harvey strives to create a comfortable, relaxed environment where patients feel heard and supported. She believes that treating the whole patient means building trust and taking time to explain what is happening with the eyes and what to expect from treatment.

Dr. Harvey trained at the University of Iowa and also practices general ophthalmology. She is glad to serve the community close to where she grew up and approaches each visit with the same care and attention she would want for a family member.
