About Me
Dr. Longest is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. She earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical School and completed her undergraduate studies at Spelman College, where she graduated cum laude with a degree in biochemistry. Her residency in general ophthalmology was served at the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens, affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and she completed a fellowship at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Longest treats a variety of eye conditions for both adults and children, including double vision, tear duct problems, dry eyes, and strabismus (crossed or misaligned eyes). She also has a special interest in performing eye examinations for premature and newborn infants. As a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, she remains up to date with the latest advances in eye care.
Dr. Longest provides care at the Arlington Heights Medical Center.
