About Me

Dr. Brittney Statler is a board-certified retina specialist focused on medical management of diseases that affect the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye. She cares for people with age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other retinal vascular diseases, using medications, in-office injections, and targeted laser treatments to preserve vision. Patients value her clear communication and collaborative approach to long-term eye health. In addition to clinical care, Dr. Statler is active in research and is involved in Phase III clinical trials aimed at developing more durable therapies for macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Her training includes fellowship in medical retina at the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute and ophthalmology residency at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital.
