Dr. Alaina Zhang

Alaina Zhang, MD, is an ophthalmology resident currently training at Corewell Health Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. She is gaining comprehensive clinical experience in eye care through the program's rigorous curriculum and exposure to various subspecialties.

Dr. Zhang completed her undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Wellesley College and earned her medical degree from The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. Her medical training focuses on developing expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of ocular conditions.

Outside of her clinical responsibilities, she enjoys baking, soap making, traveling, playing board games, and reading fantasy and science fiction literature. These personal interests reflect her creativity and meticulous attention to detail, which she brings to her patient care approach.
