Meet Dr. William Lipham
About Me
Dr. William Lipham is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at Minnesota Eye Consultants. He provides both medical and surgical care for conditions affecting the eyelids, tear drainage system, and orbit. In addition to managing complex medical and surgical cases, Dr. Lipham offers a range of facial rejuvenation services, including cosmetic eyelid surgery, endoscopic forehead lifts, and injectable treatments such as Juvederm and Botulinum toxin for wrinkle reduction.
Dr. Lipham earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and completed advanced training in oculoplastic surgery through an ASOPRS-approved fellowship at Duke University Eye Center. He also completed an ophthalmology residency at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and a transitional internship at the University of Hawaii. His research background includes a two-year NIH fellowship at the National Eye Institute, where he received a young investigators award. Dr. Lipham is a Fellow of the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons, and he is an active member of several professional societies.
Throughout his career, Dr. Lipham has been dedicated to restoring both function and appearance for his patients. He is known for his expertise in reconstructive surgery following trauma and his commitment to advancing the field through teaching and research.
