Dr. Steven Chen

Dr. Steven Chen is a board-certified and fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon who founded Oculoplastic Consultants of Arizona in 2004. His practice is dedicated exclusively to oculoplastic surgery, encompassing both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the eyelids, orbit, and tear drainage system. With over 30,000 major surgical procedures performed since 1994, Dr. Chen brings extensive experience to his patients.

Dr. Chen completed his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine and then pursued an internship at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. He went on to an ophthalmology residency at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York, followed by a prestigious oculoplastic surgery fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital. He is a fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and holds clinical faculty appointments at Tulane University, the University of Arizona, and Arizona State University.

In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Chen is recognized for his teaching and has received multiple awards for training ophthalmic surgical residents. He also enjoys photography, and his work is displayed in the practice's offices and surgery centers.
