Meet Dr. Omar Iqbal

Dr. Omar Iqbal is a fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon dedicated to preserving and restoring vision with the latest techniques and imaging. Dr. Iqbal completed ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University–Shreveport, where he served as chief resident, followed by a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Augusta University’s Medical College of Georgia. He earned both his BS and MD at the University of Florida and remains active in national societies dedicated to retinal disease.
