About Me
Dr. Mark Melson is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in the diagnosis and management of eyelid, tear duct, and orbital diseases. As a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons, he brings a high level of expertise to both functional and cosmetic surgical treatments. He offers oculoplastic procedures and non-surgical options to address a wide range of concerns around the eyes, with a focus on providing quality, compassionate care.
Dr. Melson completed his ophthalmology residency at Harvard Medical School and advanced fellowship training in oculoplastic, orbital, and cosmetic surgery. Before entering private practice, he served on the faculty at Vanderbilt University, where he taught medical students and residents. He is committed to staying at the forefront of his field and is actively involved in local, state, and national medical societies.
