About Me
Dr. Larissa Habib is an ASOPRS-certified oculoplastic surgeon specializing in functional and cosmetic surgery of the eyelids, orbit, and tear duct system. She blends meticulous technique with a warm, people-first approach, taking time to understand each patient’s goals and to explain options clearly. Her practice spans reconstructive care after skin cancer or trauma, treatment of tearing and eyelid malpositions, thyroid eye disease, and thoughtfully individualized cosmetic eyelid rejuvenation. Dr. Habib completed ophthalmology residency at Columbia University, then an ocular oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She has taught and mentored trainees at Yale School of Medicine and was recognized as the program’s Best Surgical Teacher. With thousands of operative hours and more than thirty peer-reviewed publications, she remains an engaged learner and active instructor at regional, national, and international meetings. Patients can expect evidence-based recommendations, precise surgery, and attentive follow-up aimed at restoring comfort, function, and confidence.
