About Me
Dr. Kraig Bower is an associate professor of ophthalmology and the director of refractive surgery at the Wilmer Eye Institute. He specializes in refractive surgery, including LASIK, as well as cornea and external diseases of the eye and anterior segment surgery. Dr. Bower is board certified in ophthalmology.
With extensive experience as a retired Army colonel and former director of refractive surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Dr. Bower brings a wealth of expertise to his patients. He served as the Army's refractive surgery subject matter expert, advising the Army Surgeon General. His clinical focus includes treating conditions such as corneal disease, external eye disease, and ocular trauma.
Dr. Bower sees patients at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He welcomes young adults, adults, and older adults.
