Meet Dr. Julie Ann Woodward

Dr. Woodward is an oculofacial plastic surgeon and ophthalmologist at Duke Health. She serves as chief of oculofacial surgery and specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and orbit, as well as cosmetic laser surgery of the skin. She treats a range of conditions including benign eyelid tumors, blepharospasm, and lacrimal drainage dysfunction, and performs procedures such as eyelid lifts, facial rejuvenation, and reconstructive surgery of the face and eyes.

Dr. Woodward has published extensively on cosmetic lasers, injectable fillers, neuromodulators, and benign essential blepharospasm. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and sees adult patients. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
