Meet Dr. Geoffrey Malcom Kwitko

Dr. Geoffrey Kwitko is an ophthalmologist with over 37 years of experience, specializing in world-class cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid surgery. He has been in practice in Tampa since 1991, limiting his practice to cosmetic and reconstructive oculoplastic, orbital, lacrimal, and neuro-ophthalmology. Patients seeking treatment for conditions affecting the eyelids, orbit, and tear ducts, as well as those requiring neuro-ophthalmic care, can benefit from his specialized expertise.

Dr. Kwitko completed his ophthalmology residency and a fellowship in oculoplastic, orbital, lacrimal, and neuro-ophthalmology at the Kresge Eye Institute-Wayne State University. He also served as the director of the ocular trauma service at Detroit Receiving Hospital. Currently, he is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of South Florida, where he teaches the next generation of surgeons.

Recognized by his peers, Dr. Kwitko has been voted a "Best Doctor" every year since 2003 and has received the American Academy of Ophthalmology Honor Award. He is a past President of the Tampa Bay Ophthalmologic Society and is actively involved in research, having published numerous articles and serving as the Editor-in-Chief of the Electronic Journal of the Neuro-Ophthalmic Surgical Society.
