About Me
Dr. Erika Massicotte is an ophthalmologist and surgeon specializing in oculoplastics at the Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM). She focuses on diseases of the ocular appendages, performing various surgeries involving the eyelids, lacrimal system, and orbit. Her practice is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for conditions affecting these areas, ensuring personalized treatment for each patient.
Dr. Massicotte completed her medical degree and ophthalmology residency at the Université de Montréal. She further advanced her expertise through a two-year fellowship in orbital, oculoplastics, and aesthetic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and the Pittsburgh Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Pennsylvania.
In addition to her clinical work, she is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Université de Montréal, where she teaches medical students and residents. Dr. Massicotte actively shares her knowledge by presenting at national and international conferences and has contributed to the field as an author and co-author of book chapters and scientific articles.
