Dr. David Della Rocca

Dr. David Della Rocca is an oculoplastic and orbital surgeon and comprehensive ophthalmologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He has been practicing for 15 years and specializes in the surgical treatment of diseases and conditions of the eye, including skin cancers, tumors of the eyelid and orbit, and cosmetic reconstruction. Dr. Della Rocca also treats conditions affecting the lacrimal (tear) glands and tear drainage system.

Dr. Della Rocca's approach to patient care is centered on helping individuals understand their diagnosis, particularly when dealing with oncological issues around the eye. He seeks to reassure patients and emphasizes comfort during their care. He completed his ophthalmology training at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and pursued an oculoplastics fellowship. Outside of the hospital, he is involved in surgical mission work and community service.
