Dr. Daniel Haddad

Dr. Daniel Haddad is a leader in vision correction and the founder of the Laser Eye Institute, where he has been performing laser vision correction since 1987. He specializes in advanced refractive procedures including LASIK, SMILE, and SMILE Pro. Dr. Haddad is recognized for developing the Custom RK procedure and for research that improved eye-tracking technology in excimer lasers. He has performed thousands of SMILE procedures and was one of the first surgeons in the country to offer SMILE Pro.

Dr. Haddad serves as a clinical instructor and has held leadership roles including President of the Michigan Keratorefractive Society. He continues to teach a course on improving LASIK outcomes. His approach combines technical precision with an artist's attention to detail, reflecting his lifelong passion for painting.

Dr. Haddad has been honored with a lifetime achievement award from the Kresge Eye Institute and has had his research published in Ophthalmology Times.
