Dr. Benjamin King

Dr. Benjamin A. King is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in ocular oncology and vitreoretinal surgery. He practices at the Hamilton Eye Institute-Downtown in Memphis, Tennessee, providing expert care for patients with eye cancer and retinal conditions. As an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, he contributes to medical education and research in ophthalmology.

Dr. King earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, where he also completed his internship in internal medicine and residency in ophthalmology. He pursued advanced training through a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and a fellowship in ocular oncology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This extensive training allows him to manage complex cases involving retinal diseases and ocular tumors.
