$3 per completed check — a coverage answer you can act on, with benefits, written to the chart. No subscriptions, no contracts, and not a dollar of setup until you're live. No clear answer from the payer? No charge.

$ 3 / completed check

+$1 only when Avery has to take a second look before the visit — a plan that changes often, an appointment that moved, or an answer that's gone stale. Most patients never need it.

For every patient on the schedule, Avery confirms coverage, checks the plan and member are valid, pulls the benefits your front desk needs, and writes the answer into your system.

No answer from the payer? No charge.

  • Coverage confirmed, plan & member checked
  • Benefit details — copay, deductible, coinsurance
  • Written back to your status field
$ 2,500

Implementation & workflow setup

Invoiced only at go-live. Never before Avery checks real patients on your schedule.

No monthly minimum, no contract

Pay per completed check. Pause anytime.

Worked example

1,000-visit/month comprehensive ophthalmology practice

1,000 patients checked × $3 $3,000
~200 second looks × $1 $200
Monthly total ~$3,200

Plus one-time $2,500 at go-live. No monthly minimum. Failed checks are free, so real bills run a touch lower.

FAQ

Questions you should be asking.

What counts as a completed check?
Any clear answer on a patient on your schedule — covered, not covered, not found, or doesn't match — with benefits and written to the chart. You're charged $3 for that completed check because the answer is the value, even when coverage is inactive.
When would a patient cost $4 instead of $3?
Only when Avery has to take a second look before the visit — the patient's plan is one that changes often, like Medicaid or marketplace coverage that can lapse mid-month, the appointment moved, or the earlier answer has gone stale. It's the exception, not the rule, and you control when Avery should look again.
What if there's no clear answer at all?
$0. If the payer returns nothing Avery can use, that check is free and goes to your team based on the hand-off rules set during onboarding.
When does the implementation fee invoice?
At go-live, when Avery starts checking real patients on your schedule. If we never go live, you don't pay the implementation fee.
Any contracts or minimums?
None. No monthly minimum, no multi-year contract. You pay per completed check and can pause anytime.
When new skills launch, what happens to my pricing?
Each skill is priced separately. Prior authorization is next, and you opt in only if that workflow makes sense for the practice.
