Morgantown, WVDr. Somya Chowdhary is an ophthalmologist who specializes in neuro-ophthalmology, pediatric ophthalmology, and the management and treatment of strabismus. Dr. Chowdhary joined the WVU Eye Institute and the WVU Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences faculty in 2022, where she serves as an assistant professor. She completed advanced fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology and inherited retinal diseases, as well as a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at the University of Miami Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, and a pediatric ophthalmology fellowship at UPMC.
