Dr. Joshua Schliesser is a fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical and surgical management of pediatric eye diseases and adult strabismus. He helps children and families navigate conditions that can affect visual development, and emphasizes timely evaluation so treatment can support the best possible long-term vision. Dr. Schliesser cares for pediatric eye conditions such as strabismus, amblyopia (lazy eye), congenital cataracts, pediatric glaucoma, retinopathies, corneal dystrophies, and eyelid malformations or deformities. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Utah State University, completed medical school at the University of Utah School of Medicine, trained in ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, and completed a pediatric ophthalmology fellowship at Indiana University. He is the only full-time, fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist in Southern Utah at Zion Eye Institute.

Dr. Brad S. Henriksen is a fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist who also specializes in adult strabismus. He treats amblyopia, eye misalignment, eyelid disorders, pediatric cataracts, and pediatric glaucoma, and offers compassionate, age-appropriate care for children and teens. Fluent in Spanish, he enjoys helping families understand diagnoses and options in clear, reassuring language. Dr. Henriksen graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University, earned his medical degree with high honors at the University of Utah, and completed ophthalmology residency followed by a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at Oregon Health & Science University’s Casey Eye Institute. He has taught surgical techniques in Africa and Myanmar and brings a collaborative mindset to every visit. As a father of three, he strives to treat each child the way he would his own—focused on safety, comfort, and long-term vision.

Griffin Jardine, MD, is an ophthalmologist who specializes in pediatric eye diseases and adult strabismus. He provides both medical and surgical care for a range of conditions affecting children's eyes and also treats adults with misaligned eyes. Dr. Jardine is particularly focused on treating amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (eye misalignment), pediatric glaucoma, anterior segment disorders, pediatric cataracts, retinopathy of prematurity, and nasolacrimal duct obstruction. He is known for his compassionate and engaging approach, especially with children, often using magic tricks and songs to help young patients feel at ease during exams.
