Saleema Kherani-Ali, MD, MPH, is a board-certified ophthalmologist with the Mitchel and Shannon Wong Eye Institute at UT Health Austin. She specializes in diagnosing and treating adult and pediatric uveitis as well as cataracts and other anterior segment disorders. Dr. Kherani-Ali partners closely with patients and referring physicians to manage complex ocular inflammation, tailoring therapy to control disease, protect vision, and reduce treatment burden. At UT Health Austin, she also serves on the faculty of the Dell Medical School Department of Ophthalmology, where she contributes to patient care and resident education.

Noy Ashkenazy, MD, is a vitreoretinal surgeon and uveitis specialist at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She cares for patients with medical and surgical retina conditions, including diabetic eye disease, age-related macular degeneration, retinal detachments, and complex inflammatory disorders of the eye. Dr. Ashkenazy emphasizes precise diagnosis, step-wise treatment plans, and close follow-up, with a goal of preserving vision and quality of life through evidence-based care. Dr. Ashkenazy completed dual fellowships in Vitreoretinal Surgery and in Uveitis & Ocular Inflammatory Disease at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute after ophthalmology residency at UT Southwestern. Board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022. She is active in research and education, has authored peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and participates in national societies and advocacy efforts. Patients can expect thoughtful counseling, clear communication, and a team-based approach tailored to each condition.
