Shazia Ali, MD, is an ophthalmologist at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Greater Houston, Texas. Backed by parents who inspired a love of education and emphasized achieving excellence, Dr. Ali pursued ophthalmology and surgery because she enjoys the challenge of precision required to achieve excellent outcomes for her patients. Her areas of expertise range from pediatric to adult eye disease. Dr. Ali earned her Doctor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 2013. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in 2017, followed by a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital in 2018. She then completed a second fellowship in cornea and external disease at Cizik Eye Center, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2019. She joined Kelsey-Seybold as a board-certified ophthalmologist in September 2024. Dr. Ali is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Jara Crear is a fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist who also cares for adults with strabismus. Her practice spans the full range of children’s eye conditions, from amblyopia and nasolacrimal duct obstruction to pediatric cataracts and glaucoma, with both medical and surgical solutions tailored to each family’s needs. She is active in professional organizations and enjoys mentoring future ophthalmologists. Dr. Crear completed ophthalmology residency and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at the University of Michigan’s Kellogg Eye Center after earning her M.D. from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She also completed dual undergraduate degrees at Brown in Biomedical Engineering and Economics. Her patient-care philosophy is attentive, personalized, and rooted in respect for each child’s background and needs.

Dr. Megan X. Law is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. She grew up in Galveston, Texas and attended Cornell University in Ithaca, New York before returning to Texas for medical education. She graduated with Highest Honors from Baylor College of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Law completed an internal medicine internship at Baylor College of Medicine and an ophthalmology residency at the University of California, San Francisco. She pursued additional fellowship training specializing in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Law is a member of the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Texas Medical Association, and Harris County Medical Society. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin. Dr. Law strives to provide the highest quality care for her patients. She has been published in several medical journals and presented at national ophthalmology meetings. In her free time, Dr. Law enjoys staying active and traveling the world with her family.

Dr. Adam J. Cantor is a pediatric ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care for children and also treats adult strabismus. He is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine and practices at Texas Children's Hospital. His clinical and research focus spans pediatric cataracts, pediatric glaucoma, and ocular trauma in pediatric patients, and he manages all clinical aspects of pediatric ophthalmology. Dr. Cantor completed his undergraduate degree in classical guitar performance at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music before earning his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine and a fellowship in Comprehensive Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at Texas Children's Hospital at Baylor College of Medicine. During residency, he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Society and voted Resident Teacher of the Year across all specialties by the Indiana University Medical School Graduating Class of 2019.

Dr. Sarah Madison Duff-Lynes is a pediatric ophthalmologist who provides expert care for children's vision health. Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, she graduated from Vanderbilt University and earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During medical school, she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and the Gold Humanism honor society, and she developed a passion for pediatric ophthalmology while participating in medical mission work. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida, where she honed her clinical and surgical skills. She then pursued a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at Duke University, gaining specialized training in diagnosing and treating ocular conditions in children and adults. In 2023, she moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area to join Pediatric Eye Specialists and serve the North Texas community. Dr. Duff-Lynes is highly experienced in treating a wide range of pediatric eye disorders, including childhood strabismus, amblyopia (lazy eye), trauma, cataracts, glaucoma, and retinopathy of prematurity. She also cares for adults with misaligned eyes. Recognized for her dedication, she volunteers at free clinics across multiple states and is passionate about supporting the Special Olympics. As an active member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, she stays current with advancements in her field. Dr. Erica M. Luse is a pediatric ophthalmologist at Texas Children’s Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine. Her clinical interests include retinopathy of prematurity, congenital cataracts, and congenital glaucoma, and she partners closely with parents to create care plans that are clear, compassionate, and developmentally appropriate. She completed ophthalmology residency at Loyola University Medical Center and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Texas Children’s Hospital, where she received the Medical Staff Fellow Excellence Award. Dr. Alden Paige Gregston is a pediatric ophthalmologist who cares for children with routine and complex eye problems and for adults with strabismus. She provides age-appropriate exams, explains findings in clear, reassuring language, and partners with families to choose treatments that fit a child’s needs and daily life. Her surgical interests include eye muscle surgery for children and adults, and she enjoys collaborating with orthoptists and pediatricians to support healthy visual development. Dr. Gregston completed a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at Duke Eye Center after an ophthalmology residency at UT Southwestern, preceded by an internship at Baylor University Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from Texas A&M University College of Medicine and completed undergraduate studies in neuroscience at Texas A&M University. Dr. Alaa Al-Suradi is a pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismus specialist who provides family-centered care for infants, children and teens, as well as adults with eye misalignment. He emphasizes early detection, gentle examinations and treatment plans that fit a child’s daily routine—whether that involves glasses, patching, eye exercises or surgery. An assistant professor in Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at UTMB, Dr. Al-Suradi completed medical school in Jordan, residency training with Weill Cornell Medicine–affiliated Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar, and dual fellowships in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Children’s National/George Washington University Hospital and the Storm Eye Institute at MUSC. Working within UTMB Health’s team-based Eye Center, he coordinates closely with pediatricians and subspecialists to support healthy visual development from infancy through adolescence.

Dr. Mariana Flores Pimentel is a fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care to children of all ages, from premature infants to teens. She specializes in diagnosing and treating amblyopia (lazy eye) and strabismus (eye misalignment) and has special interests in genetic eye anomalies and craniofacial disorders. She is known for her compassionate care, expertise, and commitment to improving quality of life for her patients and their families through advanced medical and surgical interventions. Dr. Flores Pimentel is passionate about empowering her young patients to achieve their full visual potential and enhancing their quality of life. Dr. Sergio Garces Uribe is a neuro-ophthalmologist at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology. He cares for adults and children with neuro-ophthalmic conditions, including optic nerve disorders, double vision, and misalignment of the eyes, and has particular expertise in adult strabismus and pediatric neuro-ophthalmology. Dr. Garces earned his medical degree from the University of Zulia, where he also completed a residency in ophthalmology. He then pursued subspecialty training through a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital followed by a pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus fellowship at UT Southwestern. His research interests include optic neuritis related to multiple sclerosis and neuromyelitis optica, the use of optical coherence tomography to evaluate the visual pathways, cortical visual impairment, and papilledema and idiopathic intracranial hypertension. Dr. Garces aims to provide thorough, team-based care, often working with neurologists and other specialists to address complex visual symptoms. He places a strong emphasis on education so patients and families understand how neurologic disease affects the eyes. When he is not seeing patients, he enjoys music, board games, and traveling.

Dr. Guneet Mann is a pediatric ophthalmologist at UT Health San Antonio who cares for children with a wide variety of eye conditions, from routine vision problems to complex medical and surgical needs. She completed medical school at Sardar Patel Medical College in Bikaner, India, and went on to fellowship training at Duke University, where she received advanced subspecialty training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. At UT Health Physicians, Dr. Mann treats conditions such as amblyopia (lazy eye), eye misalignment and strabismus, pediatric cataracts, childhood glaucoma, and tear-duct disorders, as well as general eye diseases that affect children. She cares for young patients with corneal, retinal, and neuro-ophthalmic conditions and coordinates closely with other pediatric specialists when systemic illnesses are involved. Dr. Mann speaks English, Hindi, and Punjabi, which helps her communicate comfortably with many families. Known for her gentle manner, she takes time to explain diagnoses, outline treatment options, and create age-appropriate care plans that help children see clearly and thrive at home and school.

Dr. David F. Skanchy is a fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist at Pediatric Eye Specialists in North Texas. He cares for children with the full spectrum of eye conditions and adults with strabismus. Dr. Skanchy treats all pediatric eye disorders and adults with strabismus (misaligned eyes).
