Dr. Natalia Morales is an ophthalmology fellow dedicated to making each patient feel comfortable and empowered during their visit. Her passion for patient care began in a medical magnet high school, where she saw the impact of meaningful doctor-patient connections, inspiring her mission to provide excellent, compassionate care with a focus on trust and clear communication. She earned her undergraduate degree at Yale University and her medical degree at Vanderbilt School of Medicine. Dr. Morales completed her ophthalmology residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University, where she received the Drs. James and Linda Duan-Song Award for Clinical/Surgical Excellence, reflecting her dedication to patient care. At Vance Thompson Vision in Sioux Falls, SD, Dr. Morales actively participates in clinical research trials to bring the latest advancements to her practice. Cory Bergman, MD, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery and anterior segment care. He tailors treatment plans to each patient’s goals and lifestyle, offering a full range of modern lens options and technologies to help reduce dependence on glasses after surgery. Dr. Bergman sees patients in Rapid City and also provides cataract care in regional satellite locations, making specialty services more convenient for people across the Black Hills and beyond. He attended medical school at the University of Colorado and completed his ophthalmology residency at Loma Linda. Before moving to South Dakota, he practiced in the Pacific Northwest. Beyond the operating room, Dr. Kramer is actively engaged in advancing the field through clinical research. He has published several articles and book chapters focused on astigmatism and lens implants, and he frequently presents at national conferences. Dr. Andrea Bordewyk is an ophthalmologist and corneal specialist who focuses on cataract and refractive surgery. She provides expert comprehensive surgical care for conditions affecting the cornea, cataracts, and refractive errors, helping patients achieve better vision. She completed her medical education at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Doctor of Medicine. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Psychology from the University of South Dakota, also completed summa cum laude. Her dedication to academic and clinical excellence is reflected in honors such as the Gayle Rutherford Research Award and the Dr. Joseph Sassani Pathology Award. In addition to her corneal specialization, Dr. Bordewyk is a trained and experienced LASIK surgeon, offering advanced laser vision correction procedures. She is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to serving the tri-state community with high-quality eye care services.

Dr. Hadly “Carson” Eisenbeisz is a comprehensive ophthalmologist dedicated to helping patients protect and improve their vision. Raised in Pierre, South Dakota, he discovered early how life-changing clear sight can be and brings that sense of purpose to every visit. He provides routine and surgical care for adults and families across the Black Hills, offering thorough exams, straightforward explanations, and personalized treatment plans so patients feel informed and comfortable at each step. Dr. Eisenbeisz earned his undergraduate degree from South Dakota State University and his medical degree from the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine. He completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri–Kansas City following a preliminary year in internal medicine. He has participated in outreach work in Ghana and Northern India and enjoys an active life with his family. Dr. Eisenbeisz is honored to serve the region and welcomes patients seeking preventive care, second opinions, or surgical solutions to restore clear, confident vision.
