Dr. Krishi Peddada

Simpsonville, SCDr. Krishi Peddada is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery. He provides full-scope medical and surgical retina care, from urgent retinal detachment repairs to ongoing management of diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration. Dr. Peddada earned a BS in Biomedical Engineering and his MD at Saint Louis University, where his senior project led to a U.S. patent for a foreign-body location and retrieval device. His academic career includes service as faculty and mentor to hundreds of ophthalmologists, peer-review for noted journals, and award-winning investigations into retinal adhesion and advanced imaging, including indocyanine green video angiography for blunt traumatic chorioretinopathy. At MUSC Health’s Storm Eye Institute, Dr. Pereira focuses on surgical and medical management of complex retinal disorders, complications after cataract surgery, and macular disease. Dr. Emil Anthony Say

Dr. Say has extensive fellowship training, having completed an ocular oncology fellowship at Wills Eye Institute, a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the University of North Carolina, and a pediatric vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. He previously served as an assistant professor at the Medical University of South Carolina Storm Eye Institute, managing complex retinal disorders in both adults and children. Dr. Say has published extensively and remains actively involved in advancing medical care related to eye cancer, inherited retinal diseases, and advanced retinal treatments. Having moved to South Carolina after practicing in Philadelphia and growing up in the Philippines, Dr. Say looks forward to caring for patients at the South Carolina Retina Institute. He is a member of several professional societies including the American Society of Retina Specialists, American Academy of Ophthalmology, International Society of Ocular Oncology, and International Retinal Imaging Society.
