Dr. Meghan Saumur is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with a focus on cataract surgery and modern vision-correcting lens options. Dr. Jeremy Reitinger is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at the Dean McGee Eye Institute, where he also serves as a clinical assistant professor and oversees the ophthalmology inpatient consult service. Dr. Vincent D. Venincasa is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery, LASIK, and refractive lens exchange. Dr. Thai Do is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He provides comprehensive care for functional and cosmetic concerns of the eyelids and face, with special attention to procedures that improve comfort, safety, and confidence. Dr. Maria E. Lim is a pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismus specialist who cares for children and families with vision and eye alignment concerns. Dr. Clifton Fay, Jr. is a board-certified ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon with Berg Eye Group. Dr. Fay’s clinical interests include minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), advanced intraocular lens technologies, and complex cataract and anterior segment surgery. Dr. Elise Steinberger is a skilled and compassionate ophthalmologist and Director of Ocular Trauma Services at MUSC Health. Dr. Steinberger completed her medical education at Tufts University School of Medicine and specialized residency training at the prestigious Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City. Before joining DMEI, Dr. Chorost served soldiers as an active-duty Army ophthalmologist, providing laser vision correction, implantable collamer lens (ICL) procedures, and refractive lens exchange, experiences that sharpened his attention to safety, precision, and communication. Dr. Chorost earned both his undergraduate degree in microbiology and his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. He completed an internship and ophthalmology residency at the National Capital Consortium/Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he also taught ocular trauma techniques to trainees. Dr. Jordan Guffey is a board-certified ophthalmologist and surgeon at Triad Eye Institute with a focus on cataract surgery and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). A native of Broken Arrow, he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Central Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences. He earned his medical degree from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine and completed ophthalmology residency at the Sveti Duh Hospital University Eye Clinic in Zagreb. Dr. Grasic went on to advanced subspecialty training, including a medical retina fellowship at the University of Miami/Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and a uveitis fellowship at the National Eye Institute/National Institutes of Health.

Dr. Razek Georges Coussa is a vitreoretinal surgeon specializing in adult and pediatric retina, inherited retinal diseases, and complex vitreoretinal surgery. He recently practiced as a Clinical Assistant Professor and adult and pediatric vitreoretinal surgeon at the Dean McGee Eye Institute (University of Oklahoma), where he founded the Retinal Gene Therapy Center and was the first surgeon to treat patients with FDA-approved subretinal gene therapy in Oklahoma. Miguel Cruz-Pimentel, MD, is a vitreoretinal surgeon and clinical assistant professor at the Dean McGee Eye Institute. His practice spans adult and pediatric retina, with special expertise in complex surgical retina, pediatric vitreoretinal disease, ocular genetics, and care for inherited retinal conditions. Dr. Cruz-Pimentel is committed to evidence-based care and compassionate communication, and he works closely with patients and families when conditions threaten central or peripheral vision. A clinician-scientist, Dr. Cruz-Pimentel completed medical school at Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra and ophthalmology residency at Hospital Dr. Elías Santana in the Dominican Republic, where he served as chief resident. He then pursued advanced training in Canada, including a medical retina fellowship and a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the University of Toronto, followed by a pediatric vitreoretinal surgery and ocular genetics fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children and a research fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at St. Michael’s Hospital. His work has included participation as a surgeon in gene therapy for inherited causes of blindness and research focused on retinal detachment.
