Jonathan Kristan, MD, FAAO, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who offers advanced cataract surgery and oculoplastic care. He completed medical school at Stony Brook School of Medicine, an internal medicine internship at NYU Winthrop University Hospital, and an ophthalmology residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He then pursued an oculoplastics mini-fellowship at Atlantic Eye, training with Dr. Ronald Kristan. Dr. Kristan’s practice blends state-of-the-art cataract techniques—including femtosecond laser assistance and advanced-technology intraocular lenses—with medical management of glaucoma and a full range of eyelid procedures. Dr. Sathyadeepak (Deepak) Ramesh, MD, FACS is a board-certified oculofacial surgeon who is a member of the prestigious American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (ASOPRS) and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS). He brings a highly specialized focus to cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and face. Dr. Ramesh is in private practice in Somerset, New Jersey, and also serves as faculty of the Orbital and Oculofacial Plastic Surgery service at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Ramesh completed his ophthalmology residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and UT Southwestern, then pursued a two-year fellowship in oculofacial, orbital, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgery at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. He further refined his skills in face and neck lift procedures with Dr. Jonathan Hoenig and mentors from the Los Angeles Facial Plastic Surgery Club, and he underwent specialized training in Asian eyelid and facial contouring surgeries in Seoul, South Korea. An expert in harmonious facial rejuvenation, Dr. Ramesh performs a wide range of procedures including eyelid and eyebrow lifts, face and neck lifts, laser skin resurfacing, and cosmetic orbital decompression. He has authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters, pioneered new surgical techniques, and frequently presents at national and international meetings. Dr. Ramesh is dedicated to teaching, serving as a faculty instructor for several advanced surgical courses, and he participates in international medical missions. Outside of surgery, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
