Before joining Monmouth Retina, he was the Director of Vitreoretinal Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School. He has also lectured at Massachusetts Eye and Ear/Harvard Ophthalmology, the Joslin Diabetes Center, and his alma maters. Dr. Raevis is skilled in a wide range of retinal surgeries, including vitrectomy, scleral buckle, pneumatic retinopexy, macular hole repair, and complex retinal detachment repair. He also performs intravitreal injections, cataract surgery, and places radioactive plaques for ocular melanoma. He is committed to guiding patients through their treatment with clear communication. Outside the clinic, he enjoys hiking, camping, rock climbing, canoeing, and astronomy with his family.
