Dr. Pradeep Mettu is a board-certified oculofacial plastic surgeon who brings elite training from Duke University and the Mayo Clinic to his practice in Raleigh. Specializing in eyelid surgery and facial rejuvenation, he focuses on both cosmetic and functional improvements to help patients look and feel their best. His approach is patient-centered, aiming to address whatever concerns are on your mind with expertise and care. Originally from Pikeville, Kentucky, Dr. Mettu completed his medical education with honors, including selection to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He furthered his skills through a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health and advanced surgical training at top institutions. Since returning to North Carolina in 2017 with his family, he has been committed to serving the Triangle community. Beyond surgery, Dr. Mettu is an active member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. In his free time, he enjoys family activities, chauffeuring his kids to sports and lessons, and exploring new hobbies like skiing and surfing, reflecting his energetic and dedicated personality.

Dr. Alexandra “Ola” Pietraszkiewicz is an ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery, adult neuro-ophthalmology, and comprehensive ophthalmology. She treats eye conditions stemming from the nervous system, including double vision, idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH), optic neuropathies, and blepharospasm. Additionally, she provides comprehensive adult eye care, including traditional and laser-assisted cataract surgery, glaucoma management, thyroid eye disease treatment, and diabetic eye care. She completed her undergraduate degree in human science at Georgetown University and earned her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Her internship and ophthalmology residency were completed at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, followed by a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at the University of Utah. Outside of the office, Dr. Pietraszkiewicz enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, art, live music, and travel. She sees patients in Belmont and Charlotte, North Carolina.
