She completed residency training in ophthalmology at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. Dr. Pickering graduated summa cum laude from MSU, where she received the Stephen D. Lee Scholar Award and was a member of the Shackouls Honors College. She sees patients at Tupelo Eye Center in Tupelo and its satellite clinics in West Point, Mississippi, and Hamilton, Alabama.
