Dr. Krivo earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed residency training at the University of Wisconsin, followed by glaucoma fellowship training at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center. He is also engaged in patient advocacy and healthcare policy work, reflecting a commitment to access and affordability. Dr. Michael J. Siegel is an ophthalmologist who specializes in glaucoma care, from early detection and medical management to advanced laser and surgical treatments. He sees patients for personalized plans to protect vision, including minimally invasive glaucoma procedures, traditional glaucoma surgery, and cataract surgery when needed. A Detroit-area native, Dr. Siegel earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed internship training at St. John Hospital & Medical Center, followed by ophthalmology residency at the Kresge Eye Institute at Detroit Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He then pursued fellowship training in glaucoma at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York. In addition to clinical care, he teaches and mentors physicians-in-training and stays engaged with ongoing research and education in glaucoma and complex anterior segment surgery.

Dr. Sonia Rana is a board-certified, fellowship-trained glaucoma and cataract surgeon at the Glaucoma Center of Michigan. She completed medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit, followed by an intern year at Crittenton Hospital (now Henry Ford Rochester). Dr. Rana then completed her ophthalmology residency at Wayne State University’s Kresge Eye Institute at Detroit Medical Center, where she was elected Chief Resident, and remained at Kresge to complete a Glaucoma and Complex Cataract Fellowship. Her expertise includes complex glaucoma surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma procedures (MIGS), and small-incisional cataract surgery with traditional, toric, and extended range of focus intraocular lenses. She also performs laser procedures to treat glaucoma, cataracts, and secondary cataracts. Dr. Rana has received the Dong H. Shin Outstanding Ophthalmology Research Award and the Allen Prize for glaucoma research.

Dr. Stephen Walters is an ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical and surgical care of glaucoma and cataracts. He offers both routine and complex cataract surgery and treats glaucoma with traditional and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), including iStent, Kahook/TrabEx goniotomy, XenGel stents, and cyclophotocoagulation (G6 and micropulse). He earned his undergraduate degree at Miami University of Ohio (B.A., Zoology, cum laude) and received his M.D. from Wayne State University in Detroit, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed ophthalmology residency training at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and then a glaucoma fellowship at Columbia University. Dr. Walters is an assistant professor of ophthalmology at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and works with residents in the glaucoma clinic and operating room. He has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and has presented at regional and national ophthalmology meetings.
