Dr. Chen completed his ophthalmology residency training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and went on to complete a glaucoma surgical fellowship at the Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit, Michigan. He then worked at Virginia Eye Consultants located in Norfolk, Virginia with world-renowned colleagues of all ocular subspecialties before returning back home to the Maryland/DC area. Dr. Clarke S. Nelson, MD, PhD is a cataract and general ophthalmology specialist at Katzen Eye Group. Prof. Marco Mura is a vitreoretinal surgeon with more than two decades of international experience treating complex retinal disease. Currently, he holds the position of Full Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Ferrara and Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at Arcispedale Sant’Anna of Ferrara. A talented ocular microsurgeon, he specializes in conditions such as retinal detachment, macular holes, and age-related macular degeneration. He completed a retina fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the Academic Medical Center of the University of Amsterdam.
