He completed medical school and a Master of Science at Benha University in Egypt, followed by residency at the Research Institute of Ophthalmology. Dr. Khodeiry pursued three fellowships: neuro-ophthalmology at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, and glaucoma at the University of Kentucky. He is active in research on glaucoma outcomes, childhood glaucoma, and applications of artificial intelligence in ophthalmology.
