Dr. Travis Kimple is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist at Fry Eye Associates. A native Kansan, Dr. Kimple earned his MD at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, completed an internal-medicine internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and returned to Kansas for ophthalmology residency at the University of Kansas. He has served communities across southwest Kansas since 2021.

Dr. Brian Heiniger is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Grin Eye Care who cares for patients at the Olathe, Leawood, and Brookside offices. He grew up on a family farm near Fairview, Kansas, and attended Hiawatha High School before earning a degree in kinesiology from Kansas State University. He then completed his medical degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and received the J. Donald M. Gass Award for excellence in ophthalmic education and research. Following medical school, he completed an internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Heiniger went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, serving as both clinic chief and surgery chief resident. At Grin Eye Care, he practices comprehensive ophthalmology with an emphasis on cataract and refractive surgery and manages a wide range of eye conditions, including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, droopy eyelids, dry eye, and macular degeneration. Dr. Michael Libby Mulhern is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care, including cataract surgery, laser procedures, and long-term management of eye disease. Dr. Mulhern earned a biochemistry degree from the University of Kansas and completed both his medical degree and a PhD at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed ophthalmology residency training at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. Mulhern joined Lawrence Eye Care in August 2014 and has cared for patients in the community since then. He is LenSx certified for laser-assisted cataract surgery and has a clinical focus that includes cataract care, glaucoma evaluation and treatment, diabetes-related eye care, and routine comprehensive eye exams.

Dr. Cooper Rodgers is an ophthalmologist who has deep roots in the Kansas City area, having grown up there and attended Blue Valley North High School. He pursued his undergraduate education at the University of Florida on a National Merit scholarship, graduating summa cum laude with a degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. Dr. Rodgers then returned to Kansas City to study medicine at the University of Kansas, where his academic excellence led to his induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. During his medical training, Dr. Rodgers developed a passion for ophthalmology through research in glaucoma and witnessing the transformative impact of eye surgery on patients' lives. He completed a rigorous internship at the University of Florida Shands Hospital, providing critical care during the COVID-19 pandemic. His ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida included caring for US Veterans and serving as a refractive surgeon for active military personnel at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville. He became board-certified in 2015 and has participated in medical mission trips to Honduras since 2017. Outside the clinic, he values family time and service to the community.

Dr. Aaron Wold is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care with a focus on helping patients see clearly and comfortably. Originally from a small town in Maryland, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Physiology and Neurobiology and went on to complete medical school, where he was recognized for outstanding academic achievement and inducted into AOA. During residency in San Antonio, he served as Chief Resident and received an award for excellence in ophthalmology training. Dr. Wold offers cataract surgery with advanced lens options and modern laser vision correction, and he treats common conditions such as glaucoma and dry eye. He is known for clear communication, practical guidance, and partnering with patients to choose treatments that fit their goals and lifestyle. Outside the clinic, he enjoys exercising and spending time outdoors with his wife, three boys, and youngest daughter.
