Dr. Mark Dikopf is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training in glaucoma. He provides both medical and surgical care for glaucoma, working closely with patients to protect vision and slow disease progression. He also performs cataract surgery, including the use of femtosecond laser technology and advanced intraocular lens options, and he frequently combines cataract and glaucoma procedures when it can improve outcomes and simplify recovery. Dr. Dikopf completed a combined undergraduate and medical school program through the University of Illinois College of Medicine, followed by ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary, where he served as chief resident. He then pursued a glaucoma fellowship at the same institution. He values individualized treatment plans and takes time to educate patients about their condition and options.

Dr. Zhuangjun (June) Si is an ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, cataracts, and general eye diseases. She graduated magna cum laude from the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Chicago, where she served as Chief Resident and received the Harvey Z. Klein award for exemplary patient care. She further advanced her expertise through a glaucoma fellowship at Duke University, training with renowned experts in the field. Dr. Si is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and maintains active memberships in the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society. Anita Goyal, MD, is a glaucoma and cataract surgeon who helps adults manage both routine and complex causes of optic nerve damage. Dr. Rebecca D. Sarran is a board-certified and fellowship-trained Ophthalmologist and Glaucoma Specialist. She specializes in the surgical and medical management of glaucoma, as well as the treatment of comprehensive ophthalmic concerns including cataracts. Her focus is on early diagnosis, pressure-lowering strategies tailored to risk, and clear discussions about when medications, lasers, or surgery are most appropriate. Since 2020, Dr. Sarran has been a member of University Ophthalmology Associates and an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Rush University. She is the fourth-generation ophthalmologist in her family, proudly serving the Chicagoland community where she was raised. Dr. Sarran pursued her medical degree and residency training at Rush University and completed her glaucoma fellowship training with the glaucoma service at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary. Her clinical work includes cataract surgery and a range of contemporary glaucoma procedures to protect optic nerve health and preserve vision. Patients appreciate her steady communication style and the time she takes to explain next steps, offering them advanced and personalized care.

Dr. Elza Rachid is an ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training in medical retina. She earned her medical degree at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon and completed residency training there before pursuing a Medical Retina fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami. Her work centers on diagnosing and managing retinal and choroidal conditions. She has presented clinical cases on topics such as central serous chorioretinopathy and myopic traction maculopathy, emphasizing careful monitoring and evidence-based treatment options when needed. Dr. Rachid uses modern retinal imaging—such as optical coherence tomography, OCT angiography, fluorescein angiography, and indocyanine green angiography—to help patients understand their diagnosis and to guide next steps. She aims to provide thoughtful, straightforward care and clear communication for each patient.
