Dr. Jeffrey Peterson is an ophthalmologist at Jenkins Eye Care with a focus on glaucoma and cataracts. He completed ophthalmology residency training at Baylor College of Medicine and a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, Robert Cizik Eye Clinic. Dr. Kyla Teramoto Hara is a glaucoma specialist who provides full-spectrum care—from diagnostics and medications to laser and surgical treatments—for people living with all stages of glaucoma. She welcomes patients in Honolulu and enjoys building long-term relationships grounded in clear communication, shared decision-making, and careful follow-up. Raised in Hawai‘i, Dr. Teramoto Hara earned her medical degree at the University of Hawai‘i’s John A. Burns School of Medicine, completed residency at the University of Arizona (where she served as chief resident), and pursued fellowship training in glaucoma at Northwestern University. She tailors care to your goals and daily routine, and when surgery is needed, she offers options ranging from minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) to traditional procedures.
