Dr. Blake Snyder

Palo Alto, CADr. Blake Snyder is a uveitis and medical cornea specialist with a passion for global ophthalmology and patient-centered care. He enjoys partnering with people to clarify complex diagnoses and craft treatment plans that balance effectiveness and quality of life. His clinical experience spans inflammatory eye disease, cataract surgery, eyelid procedures, MIGS for glaucoma, and office-based retina care, and he is equally comfortable caring for children and adults. A Colorado native, Dr. Snyder graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado, earned his MD at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and completed internship at Sky Ridge Medical Center. He served as Chief Resident during ophthalmology residency at UC Davis, then returned to UCSF’s Francis I. Proctor Foundation for fellowship in uveitis and medical cornea before joining Stanford as a Clinical Instructor and Global Ophthalmology Fellow. His work has been recognized with awards from ARVO, CAEPS/AAO, and UC Davis, and he remains active in research and education.

Dr. Judy Chen
Uveitis Specialist
Pasadena, CADr. Judy Chen is an assistant clinical professor at the UCLA Department of Ophthalmology. She provides patient care at the UCLA Stein Eye Institute in Westwood and the Doheny Eye Centers UCLA in Pasadena and Arcadia. She is board-certified and specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma, cataracts, and uveitis and inflammatory eye diseases. With her multispecialty training, Dr. Chen takes a thoughtful, personalized approach to care, focusing on early disease detection and effective treatment. Dr. Chen earned her medical degree from UCLA and completed her ophthalmology residency at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago. She pursued advanced clinical fellowships in uveitis at UCLA and glaucoma at UC Davis. Her diverse training allows her to deliver high-quality, comprehensive care to her patients. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Chen is actively involved in research and education. Her research interests include uveitic and steroid-induced glaucoma, as well as the perioperative management of uveitis patients. She has contributed to several peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and clinical trials for innovative uveitis and glaucoma treatments. Dr. Chen is also passionate about teaching and mentors fellows, residents, and medical students at the UCLA Stein Eye Institute and Doheny Eye Centers UCLA. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Uveitis Society, and the American Glaucoma Society.

Dr. Chi Mong Or
Uveitis Specialist
Stanford, CADr. Chi Mong Christopher Or is a board-certified ophthalmologist and family medicine physician who specializes in uveitis and medical retina. He completed advanced uveitis training through the uveitis and medical retina fellowship at Stanford University and cares for patients at the Byers Eye Institute and Menlo Medical Clinic. Dr. Or focuses on using state-of-the-art imaging, including OCT and OCT angiography, to diagnose and monitor complex inflammatory and retinal diseases such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and uveitis. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Or serves as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Stanford University School of Medicine. He is actively involved in clinical trials in optical imaging and retinal therapeutics and has published widely on ocular inflammation, retinal vascular disease, and imaging biomarkers. Dr. Or also speaks Cantonese and Mandarin, and he is committed to clear communication and collaborative, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s needs.
