Dr. Lee completed medical school at Harvard, ophthalmology residency at Stanford’s Byers Eye Institute, and a glaucoma fellowship at UCLA’s Jules Stein Eye Institute. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and has served on clinical faculty, where he trained residents and contributed to clinical research. Dr. Trenton Bowen

Gilbert, AZDr. Trent Bowen is a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist who provides comprehensive glaucoma care and advanced cataract surgery. A Phoenix East Valley native, he studied physics at Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University and earned his MD from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He completed an internal medicine internship at Banner University Medical Center, ophthalmology residency at UT Southwestern—serving as chief resident—and a glaucoma fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Bowen manages all forms of glaucoma with individualized medical, laser, and surgical therapies and offers modern cataract surgery with premium lens options. He is committed to patient education and to innovation in glaucoma care, with research presented nationally and contributions to a glaucoma textbook chapter.

Dr. Khin Kilgore

Dr. Christine Funke

Phoenix, AZDr. Christine M. Funke is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist. She provides comprehensive care for glaucoma across all stages, as well as cataracts and related conditions. Her surgical expertise includes SLT/DSLT, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), trabeculotomies, tube shunt implants, glaucoma laser procedures, and complex or combined cataract–glaucoma operations. Dr. Funke’s philosophy centers on long-term relationships and proactive management of lifelong diseases like glaucoma. Originally from the Chicago area, Dr. Funke earned a biology degree from the University of Notre Dame and her medical degree from Rush Medical College. She completed ophthalmology residency at Case Western Reserve University, where she helped found the University Eye Hospitals Alumni Association, and then a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary focused on advanced and complex disease. She remains active in research, education, and professional societies.

Dr. Jason Jensen

Tucson, AZDr. Jason D. Jensen is a glaucoma specialist who enjoys caring for patients across the full spectrum of glaucoma and cataract disease. He combines careful diagnosis, individualized medical therapy, and timely surgery when indicated, and he takes time to explain findings so patients understand their options and feel supported. His friendly, down-to-earth style helps patients and families feel at ease throughout treatment. Dr. Jensen comes from the small farming community of Richfield, Utah. He received his bachelor’s degree in Biology at Utah Valley University and worked for an ophthalmologist as a technician, which sparked his interest in eye care. He then attended medical school at the University of Utah and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Throughout his training, he was actively engaged in research involving cataract surgery, ocular trauma, and education through social media. He fell in love with glaucoma and went on to complete a Glaucoma Fellowship at West Virginia University. Dr. Jensen loves taking care of each individual and forming lasting bonds with his patients, treating each one like family. Outside of clinic, Dr. Jensen is married to his high school sweetheart and they have four children. He enjoys coaching sports, attending his children's dance competitions, and exploring the beautiful outdoor landscapes of Tucson.
