Dr. Xuemin (Rosie) Zhang is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained cataract, cornea, and refractive surgeon. She earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center where she served as chief resident, and pursued subspecialty fellowship training in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. After fellowship, she joined the University of Arizona as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology. Dr. Zhang cares for patients with a full spectrum of anterior segment and ocular surface conditions and is committed to delivering excellent, personalized care. She is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese and values clear communication and shared decision-making. An active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and Women in Ophthalmology, she has published peer-reviewed research and remains engaged in advancing the field while helping each patient understand their diagnosis and treatment options.

Dr. Michele Lee is a cornea, cataract, and refractive surgeon who specializes in medical and surgical care of the anterior segment. Inspired by her own experience with a vision-threatening corneal ulcer, she brings empathy and precision to every patient encounter and enjoys guiding people through clear, step-by-step treatment plans. Dr. Lee graduated cum laude from Harvard University and earned her MD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed an internship at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s–Roosevelt, ophthalmology residency at Stanford University, and fellowship in medical and surgical cornea, refractive surgery, and external diseases at UCSF and the Francis I. Proctor Foundation. A board-certified ophthalmologist and Heed Fellow, she has received recognition including the ASCRS Resident Excellence Award and has authored peer-reviewed publications, articles, and book chapters. Dr. Lee enjoys caring for patients across the spectrum—from complex corneal disease to vision correction—so they can return to the activities they love.

Dr. Bohan Xing is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who focuses on helping patients see clearly and comfortably through advanced corneal and cataract care. He earned his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where he graduated with a Path of Distinction in Research and was recognized with multiple scholarships and research grants. He then completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson, followed by specialized fellowship training in Cornea and External Disease at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Xing treats the full spectrum of corneal conditions and ocular surface disease and performs a range of procedures from cross-linking to partial- and full-thickness corneal transplants. He also offers cataract surgery and refractive options tailored to a patient’s visual goals. Beyond the clinic, he has published in peer-reviewed journals, presented nationally on topics such as dry eye disease and diabetic eye screening, and serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for the journal Cornea. Dr. Debora Elena Garcia-Zalisnak, MD, is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist and cornea specialist. She brings a strong academic background and fellowship training to her practice, providing care for diseases affecting the cornea and other anterior-segment issues as well as performing cataract surgery. She is committed to advocating for her patients and strives to deliver clear explanations, personalized care and positive surgical outcomes.
