Dr. Tom Kornhauser

Little Rock, ARDr. Tom Kornhauser is an ophthalmologist with advanced training in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery. Born in Israel, he graduated summa cum laude from Semmelweis University in Budapest, completed an internship at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, and an ophthalmology residency at Soroka University Medical Center. He then pursued a local oculoplastics fellowship at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem. Dr. Kornhauser completed an Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (Jones Eye Institute). He treats disorders of the eyelids, tear drainage system, and orbit, providing reconstructive solutions that restore function and appearance after disease or injury. He enjoys the blend of precision and creativity inherent to oculoplastic surgery and contributes to education and research in an academic environment. Away from the clinic, he is active in community service through Special Olympics’ Opening Eyes program.
