During fellowship, Dr. Reed served as a sub-investigator in clinical trials for emerging treatments in macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. He joined Retina Specialists of North Alabama in 2022 and provides compassionate, evidence-based care for patients across North Alabama, with prompt access for urgent retinal problems. Dr. Matthew R. West is a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon at Retina Specialists of Alabama (RSA).
