About Me
Dr. Crystal Cheung is a pediatric ophthalmologist who cares for infants, children, and teens with both common and complex eye conditions. She completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Toronto and a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology at Boston Children's Hospital and Mass Eye & Ear, where she also pursued additional training in pediatric uveitis. Dr. Cheung's clinical interests span strabismus, pediatric cataract and glaucoma, retinopathy of prematurity, corneal and anterior segment disorders in children, and vision issues related to neuro-ophthalmic and genetic conditions. She is a Lecturer in the Department of Ophthalmology & Vision Sciences at the University of Toronto and remains active in research and education. Her work includes peer-reviewed publications on pediatric uveitis management, imaging for sickle cell retinopathy screening, and surgical approaches in complex pediatric eyes.
